LOIC 2010

Comments following the 2010 Course

“A very inspiring, potentially (for some, anyway) life-changing experience: why don’t all organists study this stuff when we’re younger?”

“Thank-you very much indeed for a fantastic four days!”

Seventeen students gathered for the Tenth London Organ Improvisation Course in July 2010, playing organs at St. James, Clerkenwell, Notre Dame de France, London; St. Giles, Cripplegate and St. Botolph’s, Aldgate. A highlight of the four days was a private visit to play the organ St. Paul’s Cathedral, courtesy of Cathedral Organist Simon Johnson.
